after six months of working and waiting, the PURR LIKE A KITTEN 12' record is available on gold vinyl. it includes music from ROCKET 88, STATIC RITUALS, PHONIX, the JANE (featuring former members of WEEDS FROM A PERFECT GARDEN), OVERBLUE (featuring former members of the NECROS and the LAUGHING HYENAS), PSYCHOTIC 5 (formerly SIMON'S DRAWINGS), JOHNNY WALKER (featuring members of XEBEC, now called SOLEDAD BROTHERS), STEP-CHILDREN (featuring members of PSYCHOTIC 5) and the CUM SISTERS. some bands have more than one-song appear from some bands. there will be stories in the BLADE, the GLASS EYE, MUEN magazine and the TOLEDO CITI-PAPER about the release, and all we be displayed on this website as soon as each issue comes out (so you won't have to see the rest of the dribble sometimes displayed by these fine publications). as for STATIC RITUALS, a cassette ep is in the works, entitled CHEKAS SU MADRE, including four new songs and one re- recorded from the cd. they will also appear in the SIN KLUB records release, EXPOSED 3-D, which is a three cd compilation available for just ten bucks. both releases will be out this summer. e-mail us your address to be on our mailing list at STYLE.OVER.SUBSTANCE@USA.NET.  you can also write our p.o. box, both of which take place to our left.  there is a RECORD RELEASE PARTY scheduled for FRANKIE'S LOUNGE in late may.
